ACE Recycling & Disposal: Proudly serving you for over 44 years.

All has been quiet on the nuclear waste home front after talks broke down surrounding the disposal of nuclear waste in Nevada’s Yucca Mountains. However, it seems that some Senators are taking another look at re-approaching the issue.

Wyden is the new chair of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. The radioactive waste working group also includes Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Dianne Feinstein of California and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee. They’re all high-ranking members of both parties who hold key positions on committees that deal with energy issues.

They are looking to find a final short and long term storage solution  to dispose of nuclear waste.

Good luck. Our hats are off to these Senators. This necessary task will be difficult at best.
