Join us as we honor America’s veterans and their families for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to sacrifice to protect the freedoms we hold so dearly. Midvale City will host a Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 11. The day will start with a free pancake breakfast at 9:30 a.m. at the Midvale Senior Center (7550 S. Main Street). Prepared by the Midvale Stake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a member of the City’s Interfaith Council. The breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, ham, orange juice and coffee. The ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Monument located at the Midvale City Cemetery (471 W 6th Avenue). The ceremony will include the prelude and posting of colors by the Unified Fire Authority Honor Guard and Pipes and Drum Corp, anecdotal speakers, and recognition of veterans according to the various military branches served.
